KEY INITIATIVE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM (KIDS)

The KIDS process has been designed to be utilized as a tool to systematically and efficiently develop a plan of action in order to maximize the probability of achieving goals while eliminating the guesswork and anxiety that oftentimes occurs when a desired outcome is not being achieved. It can be completed as an individual or group.

Once KIDS has been implemented, ongoing management becomes systematic and more time is spent on controllable and more productive activities.

Steps:

1. Describe your mission.

2. List your goals.

3. Complete a SWOT Analysis.

    1. Strengths.

    2. Weaknesses.

    3. Opportunities.

    4. Threats

4.List the initiatives that will assist in achieving your Mission & GOALS.

5. Assign a ranking of the PROJECTED IMPACT and EASE OF IMPLEMENTATION for each initiative.

6. Prioritize by HIGHEST IMPACT and EASIEST TO IMPLEMENT.

7. Develop and implement an action plan.

8. Measure progress and make adjustments.
